SF HERITAGE: HERITAGE IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS
"Deeply Rooted" is a window installation created at the Doolan-Larson Building on San Francisco's iconic Haight x Ashbury street corner. Spotlighting the Legacy Businesses (est. 30+years) of the neighborhood, featured are some of the business owners, staff, and a few neighbors as well. This unique creative process affords me the opportunity to converse with the community members with whom I am sketching, as a way to get to know the neighborhood’s character.
